The Woerka platform

One account for the factory. Modules that connect.

Checks, Actions, Maintenance, Quality and OEE in one Woerka account. Start with the module you need most. Each one works on its own, and when you add the next it links to what's already there.

The demo opens your own copy of a fictional factory for 24 hours. No sign-up.

Five modules

Useful on its own. Better with the others.

Every module uses the same sites, departments, people and machines. Each record gets a short reference, such as ACT-0193, and a page showing what it's linked to and what has happened to it.

01

Checks

Operators and team leaders, on a phone at the machine

Start-up, safety and 5S checks on a phone, from a QR code on the machine.

  • Check templates with pass/fail, yes/no, number-in-range, choice and note items.
  • Schedules per machine or area: every shift, daily, weekly or monthly.
  • A QR label on every machine: scan it to see that machine's due checks.
  • A board of what's due, overdue and done today, with failures and sign-off.
02

Actions

Everyone, and team leaders and managers keeping track

One to-do list for the factory, wherever the work came from.

  • An owner, due date, priority and status on every action.
  • Comments, and a note of the evidence when it's done.
  • My actions, team actions, overdue, and actions by where they came from.
  • Raised by hand, or automatically by the other modules.
03

Maintenance

Maintenance engineers, and anyone reporting a breakdown

Breakdown reports, jobs, planned maintenance and each machine's repair history.

  • Anyone can report a breakdown; engineers work it through to done.
  • Breakdown, planned and inspection jobs, with time spent and parts used.
  • Planned maintenance every so many days, weeks or months, creating the upcoming jobs.
  • Each machine's repair history, open jobs and next service in one place.
04

Quality

Quality engineers and quality leads

NCRs, defects, complaints and supplier issues, from containment to sign-off.

  • NCRs, defects, customer complaints and supplier issues, with severity, part number and quantity.
  • Containment steps and a 5 whys root cause.
  • Corrective and preventive actions.
  • Closed only when someone signs it off.
05

OEE

Production managers and shift leads

Availability, performance and quality per machine and shift, with the reasons for downtime.

  • Shift figures per machine: planned time, run time, counts and good parts.
  • Downtime logged against reason codes, planned and unplanned.
  • OEE by machine, line and day, with 30-day trends.
  • A Pareto of the reasons you lose the most time to.

How it connects

A problem found once reaches every team that needs it.

When something happens in one module, Woerka raises the follow-up work in the others, but only in the modules you have. Here is one failed start-up check in the demo factory.

CNC-04, CNC lathe

Fail Coolant pressure at the turret: 2.8 bar spec 4–6 bar

Submitted by Kyle Robinson, machine operator

  1. ActionsAn action for the cell leaderStop the machine, hand it over and quarantine the late shift's parts. Closed with the evidence noted.
  2. MaintenanceA breakdown job on CNC-04Coolant pump replaced and strainer cleaned, with the parts and time logged.
  3. OEEDowntime: failed start-up checkOpened when the machine stopped, closed when the job was done: 2h 40m.
  4. QualityAn issue for 37 parts from the late shiftQuarantined, checked on the CMM, root cause found with 5 whys, then signed off.
Every record links back to the check, and each keeps its own history. From the demo factory, Brindley Precision Components, which is fictional. Follow this story in the demo.
  1. Set up once

Sites, departments, people and machines are shared by every module, so a breakdown, a check and a downtime record all point at the same CNC-04.

  2. Only what you have

Each check item says what a failure should raise. If a module is off, that step is skipped and the failure stays flagged on the Checks board as needing attention.

  3. Linked both ways

Every record shows where it came from and what it led to, with a history of who did what and when. Nothing is copied between modules by hand.

On the shop floor

Made for the people doing the work.

Operators use Woerka on a phone at the machine. Managers use it on a desktop. It runs in the web browser, so there's nothing to install.

  1. Scan the machine

Every machine and area gets a QR label. Scan it with the phone's camera to see that machine's due checks, then complete them on screen.

  2. Big buttons, few screens

Check screens are built for a phone first: one machine, its due checks, and large controls that work with gloves on.

  3. Each role, their work

Operators complete checks and work their own actions. Maintenance works the job board, quality the open issues. Managers get a dashboard with a card per module and a list of what needs attention.

  4. Your words

Your machine codes, your check items, your downtime reasons and your people's names, not a vendor's.

Rollout

Start with one module.

Pick the problem that costs you most and start there, on one line or one area. Add the next module when the first one is part of the routine.

  1. A call about your factory

Thirty minutes on the workflow that matters most and who would use it: operators, maintenance, quality or managers.

  2. Set up once

Your sites, departments, people and machines. Import your machine register from a CSV file, then print QR labels for every machine.

  3. One module, one area

For example, start-up checks on one line in Checks, with failures picked up from the Checks board.

  4. Add the next

Turn on Actions or Maintenance and the same failures start creating owned, linked work. No migration, no new system.

Available and planned

What's ready today, and what isn't yet.

We'd rather you knew now than found out later. If something you need is planned, we'll say so before you commit.

Available now

  • Checks, Actions, Maintenance, Quality and OEE, on their own or together
  • Your company's own address, such as yourcompany.woerka.com
  • QR labels for every machine and area, printable as a sheet
  • Machine register import from a CSV file, with a preview first
  • Admin, manager and member roles
  • Works in the browser on phones, tablets and PCs

Planned not available yet

  • Planned Direct ERP and database sync

Reading works orders, production counts and machines straight from your ERP or SQL database. Today you can import your machine register from a CSV file.

  • Planned Photo evidence

Photos attached to checks and actions.

  • Planned Working offline

Completing checks with no signal and sending them later. Today a check needs a connection when it is submitted.

  • Planned Fixed assets for finance

An asset register with depreciation and reporting for the finance team.

Pricing

Priced per factory.

The platform is priced per factory, depending on the modules, sites and people you need. We agree it after a call. We don't publish platform prices yet.

Need something the modules don't do? We also build custom software at published, fixed prices.

Questions

Can we start with just one module?

Yes, and most factories should. Each module works on its own. When you add another, it uses the same machines, people and records, and starts linking to what's already there.

Do operators need to install an app?

No. Woerka runs in the web browser on the phones, tablets and PCs you already have. Operators scan the QR label on a machine with the phone's camera and complete the check on screen.

How do we get our machines and people in?

We set up your sites, departments, people and machines with you. You can import your machine register from a CSV file, with a preview before anything is saved, and print QR labels for every machine.

Is our data kept separate from other companies?

Yes. Each company has its own Woerka account at its own address, such as yourcompany.woerka.com, and every record belongs to that account alone.

How much does it cost?

The platform is priced per factory, depending on the modules, sites and people you need. We agree it after a call. We don't publish platform prices yet.

Can it connect to our ERP?

Direct ERP and database sync is planned, not available yet. Today you can import your machine register from a CSV file. If you need a live link sooner, talk to us: it's the same integration work we do on custom projects.
