Woerka is a small software business in Birmingham. We build practical systems for manufacturers and operational teams: the tools that sit between the plan and the shop floor, and make the daily work lighter.
Why we exist
Big software is built for big companies.
Enterprise systems assume you have an IT department, a transformation budget and a year to spare. Most manufacturers don't. They have a process that works, a team that knows it, and a stack of spreadsheets holding it together.
We think that process deserves software shaped around it: focused, fast to deliver, fairly priced and owned by the business that uses it. Not a platform to adopt. A tool that does the job.
That's where the name comes from. Software should do the woerk, so your people don't have to do it twice.

Who's behind it
From the factory floor, not an agency.
Woerka is run by Sean McMahon. Our background is building software in-house at a UK site of one of the world's largest manufacturers: OEE and production performance systems, workflow tools that replaced expensive vendor platforms, automated finance and management reporting, and standard definitions for manufacturing data across sites.
That includes bringing AI into a corporate environment the careful way: rolling out AI coding assistants to technical and non-technical staff, building an internal assistant over company documents, and working through the data security and governance questions that come with it.
The tools are chosen to last: Go, SQL, plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, REST APIs, and the Microsoft Power Platform where it fits, deployed on your own network or on managed hosting.
