Our work: software built for real operations

OEE platforms, workflow systems, reporting automation, manufacturing data standards and AI rollouts. This is the experience behind Woerka, and the kinds of systems we build.

Experience

What we've built before.

Built in-house at a UK site of one of the world's largest manufacturers, not as Woerka client projects. We don't name the business, share its data or reuse its code. We bring the experience.

  1. OEE and production performance platform

A web-based system giving operators and managers a clear view of production efficiency and OEE, running on the local network and built to be the foundation for wider factory digitalisation.

    • OEE and performance tracking
    • Production data collection
    • Manufacturing dashboards
    • Automated factory reporting
    • Lightweight on-premise deployment
  2. Replacing a vendor workflow platform

An internal workflow and approvals system built quickly around the real business process, replacing an expensive third-party platform and its ongoing licence costs.

    • Process mapping and redesign
    • Digital approvals
    • Workflow automation
    • Rapid prototyping and roll-out
  3. Rolling out AI tools, safely

Rolling out Claude Code and other AI tools to technical and non-technical staff in a corporate environment, so people who know the process can build and automate their own tools, with attention to data security, governance and appropriate use. Plus an internal assistant that answers questions from company documents.

    • Claude Code for non-technical staff
    • Enterprise AI coding assistants
    • Internal knowledge assistant
    • Document search
    • Finance process support
    • Governance and acceptable use
  4. Standardising manufacturing data

Consistent definitions and data structures for performance measures across processes and locations, so the shop floor and head office read the same numbers.

    • OEE
    • Production output
    • First-pass yield
    • Retest analysis
    • Product family classification
    • Automated daily reporting
  5. Finance and management reporting automation

Automated management reports, cost-centre dashboards and exception reporting that replaced repetitive spreadsheet work and joined operational and financial data.

    • Management reporting
    • Cost-centre dashboards
    • Exception reporting
    • Data transformation
  6. An internal digital portal

One place for factory applications and information, so each new tool plugs into a common front door instead of becoming another isolated system.

    • Internal web applications
    • Single front door for tools
    • Foundation for further apps
  7. Industrial systems integration

Connecting manufacturing test systems, local databases and internal APIs on factory networks, including LabVIEW-based test equipment.

    • LabVIEW integration
    • Manufacturing test systems
    • Internal APIs
    • LAN-hosted applications
  8. Microsoft Power Platform

Administering and building on the Power Platform, from Power BI governance and tenant-level analytics to Power Apps for operational use.

    • Power BI governance
    • Power Apps
    • Environment and tenant administration
    • Data and app governance

Typical projects

What we're asked to build.

These are the systems that come up again and again. Each is shaped to the business, but the problems they solve are familiar.

  1. Production tracking

Whiteboards and end-of-shift spreadsheets replaced with tablets at each line recording output, stoppages and reasons as they happen.

  2. Works orders and job cards

Paper job cards replaced by a system that pulls orders from the ERP, tracks each operation and books completions back.

  3. Quality and non-conformance

Inspections, NCRs and corrective actions logged with photos, routed for approval and reported by customer, part and cause.

  4. Maintenance requests

Breakdown requests raised from the shop floor, planned maintenance scheduled, and history kept against each asset.

  5. Quoting

A quote builder that applies your pricing rules, material costs and margins consistently, and tracks every quote to a result.

  6. Traceability

Batch and material traceability with barcode or QR scanning at goods-in, production and dispatch.

  7. Line-side call buttons

Wireless buttons at each line for line-down or assistance calls, showing on a screen and logged so response times can be measured.

  8. Asset registers

A detailed fixed-asset register with QR labels on equipment, linked to maintenance history and capital spend.

A no-obligation conversation, on site or on a call. You'll come away with a clear view of what's worth fixing, what it would cost, and whether software is the right answer at all.
